History

Ralph Burk is the founder of Comtrol. In 1958 he was involved in the development of the first computerized scheduling software. Ralph later began his career as a general contractor when he formed the Ralph Burk Construction Company. In 1968 Ralph incorporated the company and renamed it Comtrol in honor of the groundbreaking software which he helped develop.

Currently Comtrol has a Utah State Contracting License (#2290-48-5501) in good standing, with an unlimited bidding capacity, as well as licenses in the states of Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Florida.


Services

Comtrol has developed approximately 50% of its construction volume from government projects at the Federal, State, and local level. Repeat clients include the US Army and US Air Force, State of Utah DFCM, school districts, the LDS Church, and various private clients. Comtrol's past projects have included a wide variety of industrial, educational, military, municipal government, and commercial projects.
