SLC Air Traffic Control Tower

The project required the construction of a new 325-foot tall control tower, consisting of a steel frame, precast concrete fascia, and 22-story elevator. The Base Building is a two-story 10,000 sq. ft. office, conference, and classroom facility. Complex electrical and mechanical systems in both buildings include heating, ventilating, air conditioning, fire detection and protection systems, and an intricate security system with closed circuit TV. The facility also includes lightning protection, an uninterruptible power system, standby emergency generator, computer facilities with raised floors and computer cooling systems, site improvements, and landscaping.
